The use of painted arches can add a
trompe l'oeil effect to any mural.
"We Put The Trick, In The Trompe Of Trompe L'Oeil"
Mural with Arches
This trompe l'oeil mural was painted for a private residence
in Olathe, Kansas (just outside of Kansas City).
A soft yellow faux finish was applied to the dining room walls and a
five paneled mural was painted directly on the wall.
The arches are an example of how any mural can become a
trompe l'oeil effect.
By placing your mural in a window or arched opening
you not only bring your artwork into a smaller area to allow for more detail,
but also add to the overall effect of the artwork when
a person enters the room.
A great detail of planning goes into each of our hand painted wall murals,
our customers have input during the planning stages.
This way they can relay to us what they would like to see in their mural.
We have a huge library of references and use them,
even when painting the simplest of things.
Through these references our client can visually show us what they would like to see.
Many artists' styles and techniques influence us in painting one of our art effects.
By combining what we have learned through experience and observations
we have developed many formulas for creating unique
trompe l'oeil and wall murals.
